Epic Games Store: Free · regular price $24.99 · 98% positive Steam reviews (1,679) · ended Nov 5, 11:00 AM ET
What it is: A retro-styled survival horror game from à la mode games about Michelle, a Londoner cursed by an archdemon who is looking for love. You explore her neighborhood and a demon realm through fixed camera angles, snap into first-person to shoot monsters, and use her Third Eye to peek between worlds for hidden clues and puzzle solutions. Conversations with the eccentric locals steer the story toward several different endings.
What players say: Reviewers keep coming back to the striking art and character designs, plus a heartfelt story about love. The blend of old-school fixed-camera exploring with first-person shooting also wins a lot of praise.
Good to know: It's a single-player game with full controller support, and classic tank controls can be switched on if you want them.
Worth grabbing? Fans of Silent Hill and classic Resident Evil who want a stranger, far more colorful take on the formula should claim this one.
Hexologic

Grab itSteam Deck: VerifiedRuns on older PCs
Steam: Free · regular price $4.99 on Steam · 97% positive Steam reviews (690) · ended Oct 31, 2026
What it is: A calm logic puzzler that puts a twist on Sudoku using hexagonal grids. You place dots in hexes so that the totals along each line, in three directions, match the numbers at the edge of the board. Six worlds each bring their own mechanics, all set to soft, mellow music.
What players say: The soothing soundtrack and a steady stream of new mechanics earn steady praise. Many find it on the easy side, though, and a few puzzles tempt you into guessing rather than pure deduction.
Worth grabbing? A nice pick for anyone who likes a relaxing session of easy to medium Sudoku. Puzzle veterans hunting for brutal challenges may breeze through it too quickly.
Free itch.io Games Bundle

itch.io: Free · ends Nov 22, 2026
What it is: A bundle on itch.io that adds 116 games to your account in a single claim. You take the whole set at once and then download whichever of the games you want to try.
Worth grabbing? Worth claiming for anyone happy to sort through a big pile of games to find a few new favorites.
Molokaust

itch.io: Free · ended Nov 4, 2026
What it is: A first-person survival horror game from TAF Interactive in which a desperate father searches the cursed town of Tecka for his wife and daughter. You scavenge every corner for supplies, keep your guns loaded and your inventory tidy, and face zombies and other monsters with very little ammo to spare. Realistic visuals aim for a grim, oppressive mood.
Worth grabbing? Suited to horror fans who like tense, punishing survival where every bullet counts and mistakes hurt.
Octane100

Runs on older PCs
itch.io: Free · ended Nov 3, 2026
What it is: A pixel-art action roguelike with turn-based fights, set in a war against an oil company called Octane100. You pick from eight heroes, mix and match more than 50 items to create wild combos, and shop for upgrades between battles. A separate map mode lets you explore and set up automated fuel supply chains.
Worth grabbing? A good fit for build-crafting fans who love hunting for that one broken item combo in each run.
Heirloom

Runs on older PCs
itch.io: Free · regular price $0.99 on Steam · ended Nov 4, 2026
What it is: A small 2D platformer with a minimalist pixel look inspired by 1-bit and text-mode art. You set out on a family pilgrimage up to the Old Summit to bring back an heirloom, running and jumping past hazards across four short but tricky levels. Characters to meet along the way, a death counter and an old CRT screen effect add retro charm.
Worth grabbing? Ideal for players who want a short, tough retro platformer with a bit of story along the way.

Detention

Steam: $2.39 (80% off) · regular price $11.99 · 96% positive Steam reviews (2,869) · ended Nov 2, 1:00 PM ET
What it is: A 2D side-scrolling horror adventure from Red Candle Games, set in a fictional version of 1960s Taiwan under martial law. Two students find themselves trapped in their remote mountain high school, now twisted and haunted, and you guide them point-and-click style, hiding from monsters and solving item puzzles. Taoist and Buddhist beliefs and Chinese folklore shape its monsters and its story about the school's dark past.
What players say: Rather than jump scares, it leans on unsettling imagery and real historical themes like censorship and oppression, which reviewers find deeply moving. The puzzles tie neatly into the story, and the tight pacing over a short runtime gets plenty of praise.
Worth buying? Anyone who likes horror that lingers after the credits, more than horror that makes you jump, should pick this up now that it's at its lowest Steam price ever.
Wall World

Grab itSteam Deck: VerifiedLowest Steam price everRuns on older PCs
Steam: $1.04 (85% off) · regular price $6.99 · 88% positive Steam reviews (3,827) · ends Nov 6, 1:00 PM ET
What it is: A roguelite about mining and tower defense in which your mobile base is a giant robot spider clinging to an enormous vertical wall. You park next to a cave, dig through randomly generated tunnels for resources and blueprints, then hurry back to fend off monster waves with turrets and guns. Moving up or down past layers of cloud opens up new biomes.
What players say: The loop of digging, upgrading and defending your spider hooks people fast, and many compare it to Dome Keeper. The common gripes are repetition in later runs and a grind for randomly spawning quest items needed to finish.
Worth buying? A strong pick for anyone who enjoys short runs of digging for loot and holding a moving base against monsters, and it has never cost less on Steam.
Planet of Lana

Grab itSteam Deck: VerifiedRuns on older PCs
Steam: $2.99 (85% off) · regular price $19.99 · 93% positive Steam reviews (4,050) · It was $1.99 on Steam within the past year · ends Nov 9, 1:00 PM ET
What it is: A cinematic 2D puzzle-platformer from Wishfully about a young girl named Lana and her companion on a lush planet invaded by a machine army. You sneak past robots, solve environmental puzzles with your companion's help, and survive some tense action sequences. Its story stretches across galaxies and centuries.
What players say: Stunning landscapes, a beautiful score and an emotional story win people over. On the flip side, several find the puzzles too simple and samey, with slow pacing in places.
Worth buying? Lovers of atmospheric adventures like Inside or Gris will enjoy the journey. It sold for less within the past year, though, so patient buyers can hold out for a deeper sale.
Marvel's Midnight Suns

Worth a trySteam Deck: PlayableLowest Steam price ever
Steam: $8.99 (85% off) · regular price $59.99 · 83% positive Steam reviews (11,881) · ends Nov 9, 1:00 PM ET
What it is: A tactical RPG from Firaxis, the studio behind XCOM, where turn-based fights are played with decks of hero ability cards. You create the Hunter, a customizable demon slayer who leads Marvel heroes from the Avengers, X-Men and more against the demon Lilith. Between missions you roam a home base, build friendships with your team and decide who joins each fight.
What players say: The card-based combat and its depth draw big praise, along with the writing and voice acting. The most common complaint is the long stretches spent walking around the base and sitting through dialogue between missions.
Good to know: It uses Denuvo anti-tamper with a limit of five machine activations.
Worth buying? Tactics fans who also enjoy relationship-building in RPGs will find a lot to love here, and it's at its lowest Steam price ever. Skip it if you only want the battles or dislike games with in-app purchases.
Steam Deck results are Valve's own tests of the Steam version. Runs on older PCs means 4 GB of RAM or less.
