Steam: $2.39 (85% off) · regular price $15.99 · 88% positive Steam reviews (6,652) · ends Nov 12, 1:00 PM ET
What it is: A World War II strategy sim where you command the crew of a bomber, moving them between stations mid-flight. You manage fuel, ammo and hydraulics while dealing with enemy fighters, flak guns, bad weather and oxygen shortages, and crew members who die are gone for good. Between missions you train your team and paint your own nose art and liveries.
What players say: The crew-juggling is the big draw, with players describing a satisfying, tense loop that takes time to learn. The shared complaint is that later missions get punishing and grindy, especially when losing your bomber means rebuilding your upgrades.
Good to know: The USAAF DLC, sold separately, adds an American bomber to fly.
Worth buying? Players who enjoy multitasking under pressure will love babysitting a crew they might lose.

Steam: $0.99 (90% off) · regular price $9.99 · 94% positive Steam reviews (1,610) · ended Nov 2, 1:00 PM ET
What it is: A 2D horror puzzle-platformer built as a tribute to cheesy 70s and 80s slasher movies, split into episodes that each have their own theme. You control four friends who grab whatever they can find to survive the horror around them. Figuring out each scenario through experimentation is the core of the fun.
What players say: Players enjoy how it captures the feel of old slasher movies, though several note that the puzzles can be tricky and lean on trial and error.
Good to know: Characters die permanently, so a mistake can cost you one of the four companions.
Worth buying? Slasher fans who like poking at a puzzle until it breaks should pick it up while it sits at its lowest Steam price ever.

Steam: $2.99 (80% off) · regular price $14.99 · 92% positive Steam reviews (1,699) · ends Nov 12, 1:00 PM ET
What it is: A puzzle-platformer about searching for a missing mother in a stark, grey world. Its core trick is changing the background color: any obstacle that matches the new shade vanishes, opening paths and creating fresh puzzles as you collect more colors. Voiced narration accompanies the journey.
What players say: Players praise the color-swapping puzzles and the bright art style, though some find many of the puzzles on the easy side.
Good to know: It has full colorblind support, with symbols marking each color.
Worth buying? Fans of clever, compact puzzle-platformers with a gentle emotional story will find a lot to like here.
Tormented Souls

Grab itSteam Deck: VerifiedLowest Steam price in a yearRuns on older PCs
Steam: $1.99 (90% off) · regular price $19.99 · 88% positive Steam reviews (2,616) · ended Nov 2, 1:00 PM ET
What it is: A survival horror game in the style of early Resident Evil, with fixed camera angles in a creepy mansion turned hospital. As Caroline Walker, who wakes up hooked to strange machinery after investigating missing twin girls, you scavenge items, combine them to crack elaborate puzzles and fight monsters with whatever you find.
What players say: Classic horror fans praise how well it captures the Resident Evil and Silent Hill feel, along with its tough puzzles and detailed rooms. Criticism centers on clunky combat and controls, weak voice acting and puzzles that can push you to a guide.
Good to know: The opening shows Caroline undressed, so expect some mature content.
Worth buying? Anyone who misses fixed-camera horror and does not mind keeping notes will feel at home; players who want smooth modern action should skip it.
Patch Quest

Grab itSteam Deck: VerifiedLowest Steam price in a yearRuns on older PCs
Steam: $2.99 (80% off) · regular price $14.99 · 95% positive Steam reviews (1,058) · ends Nov 12, 1:00 PM ET
What it is: A roguelite twin-stick shooter set on a jungle island whose patchwork map gets reshuffled every night. Your lasso lets you tame and ride any of more than 50 monster species, borrowing their skills to fly, swim, burrow or blast through bullet-hell fights. When you fall, you return to base camp and push further with new shortcuts and upgrades.
What players say: Players enjoy the charming art and the hooking run-based loop, and several point out it gets surprisingly tough. Those who dislike it find it grows samey or dull over time.
Good to know: Co-op works locally on one screen.
Worth buying? Roguelite fans who want monster taming mixed into bullet-hell shooting will find this a great fit.
Say No! More

Grab itSteam Deck: PlayableRuns on older PCs
Steam: $1.49 (90% off) · regular price $14.99 · 91% positive Steam reviews (1,770) · It was $1.04 on Steam within the past year · ends Nov 9, 1:00 PM ET
What it is: A comedy game where you play a new office intern in a world where everyone always agrees, until you discover the power of shouting NO. You walk through quirky office scenes rejecting absurd demands, charging up your refusals and picking styles like heated, cold or lazy, even in different languages. Beneath the chunky late 90s look sits a warm story about friendship and workplace standards.
What players say: The goofy humor and warm, encouraging message about saying no at work land with most players. It is short and simple, which fans count as part of its charm.
Worth buying? It suits anyone wanting a short, feel-good comedy to finish in a sitting, though it has dipped lower within the past year, so patient buyers can wait for a deeper sale.
Zombie Army Trilogy

Worth a trySteam Deck: VerifiedLowest Steam price everRuns on older PCs
Steam: $4.49 (90% off) · regular price $44.99 · 84% positive Steam reviews (5,188) · ended Nov 2, 1:00 PM ET
What it is: A third-person shooter bundling three campaigns about a Nazi plan to raise an army of undead soldiers at the end of World War II. You snipe and blast through zombie hordes with an X-ray kill camera showing every brutal hit, and there is a horde mode as well. Missions can be played alone or with up to four players in online co-op.
What players say: Most agree it shines as an easy-to-pick-up, over-the-top B-movie shooter with friends. The big recurring problem is crashes on modern PCs, which several players could not fully fix.
Good to know: Expect graphic, bloody violence throughout.
Worth buying? Groups wanting silly zombie-sniping nights get a lot here; anyone without patience for technical fixes should skip it.

Steam: Free · regular price $9.99 on Steam · 92% positive Steam reviews (316) · ended Nov 2, 2026
What it is: A 2D psychological horror adventure set in 1990s northeastern Brazil, where you guide a frightened girl named Ana LĂșcia through her nightmares in detailed pixel art. Your flashlight is your main tool: each monster responds to light in its own way, so you use it to lure, dodge or sneak past threats while gathering clues and solving point-and-click puzzles. Lingering in darkness wears down her sanity and draws more danger to her.
What players say: Fans love the moody atmosphere and the art, and several compare it to a 2D take on Silent Hill. The recurring gripe is bugs, plus a fiddly lockpicking puzzle that left more than one player stuck.
Good to know: This release is only the opening chapter of an episodic story.
Worth grabbing? Strong free pick for anyone who likes slow, creepy 2D horror built around flashlight stealth and puzzles.
A New Beginning - Final Cut

Worth a trySteam Deck: UnsupportedRuns on older PCs
GOG: Free · regular price $9.99 on Steam · 74% positive Steam reviews (1,580) · ended Nov 2, 2026
What it is: A classic point-and-click adventure from Daedalic, drawn like a graphic novel with animated comic cutscenes. A retired bioengineer hiding away in the Norwegian woods is visited by Fay, a young woman who says she has traveled back from the future to stop a climate disaster, and together they race to keep his research away from a greedy energy mogul. You collect items, combine them and solve puzzles across many hand-drawn locations.
What players say: The hand-drawn backgrounds and comic-book look get plenty of praise, and many enjoy the offbeat plot. Common complaints are flat, lifeless voice acting and puzzles whose logic can be hard to follow, with some bugs on top.
Worth grabbing? Patient point-and-click fans who like a sci-fi plot about time travel and climate will get the most from it; anyone expecting a polished modern adventure can pass.
My Darkest Witch

IndieGala: Free · regular price $4.99 on Steam · 69% positive Steam reviews (29)
What it is: Seen from above, you stand alone as a spell-casting warrior of a holy order, holding out against wave after wave of infected creatures in gloomy arenas. Between rounds you strengthen your magic, defensive skills and weapons, because every new wave brings tougher monsters.
What players say: Fans enjoy the endless enemy waves and the upgrades that make each run feel stronger, while critics find it basic and short on variety.
Worth grabbing? Only worth adding if you enjoy wave-survival shooters; anyone after a richer arena game should look elsewhere.
